Do you find yourself working to maintain balance? As a society, we work to balance work and family. As well as balancing computer time and outdoor experiences. Another struggle with balance is finances and time. Balance is much more than a measure of external forces. Balance is a feeling of clarity and serenity that allows you to be at peace with the choices you make and will make in the future.
I have found that when I’m in balance with work-life-fun, not only do I feel better, my ENERGY shifts in such a way that people are drawn to me because of my ENERGY. This is something that I consciously practice which helps me stay out of physical pain and creates more fun in my life.
I really saw this first hand when I was in a chaotic situation that was very negative. Yet me being able to stay in my balance actually helped the situation. I saw more clearly what my role was in the situation because I was in the ENERGY of balance. You know what?? It helps Shine, my dog, as well when I’m more in balance.
There are many external ways to build a balanced environment that will in turn create an internal balance. Here are three steps to get you started!
Creating a Clean and Balance Space
When you live in a space that is harmonious and speaks to who you are as a person, you are more comfortable to be yourself. When decorating your home, consider what the items mean to you. Living in a space that is filled with objects that bring you joy boosts self-esteem. Caring for these items through thorough cleaning and maintenance is empowering as well. It is healthy to take time to clean and dust those items that are dear to you because it raises the ENERGY of the item.
Creating a Balanced Schedule
Taking just a quick look at your personal calendar, do you have a planned day off? Do you block out meditation times? Being busy all the time is great, yet the balanced life has some downtime. Part of this is the ability to say no when you are feeling overbooked and overwhelmed. I have a twenty-minute visualization here where you can take time for yourself!
Plan Your Balancing Act
Balance is an act that can require a good script. Before starting a task or starting your day make a list of things you will need. Creating a step-by-step list as well as a list of what you will be using will remove stress and create empowerment.
I encourage you to follow these 3 steps to discover your own inner balance.
