Peace, Community & Spirituality

Have you been to the movies lately? Have you seen a 3-D movie? Do you agree our energy vibrations in the movies are on overload these days? So much action, special effects and real-life situations are coming at us on the big screen.

spiritHave you seen “Fast and Furious” or “Star Trek” yet? About an hour into these movies it was time for me to get up and stretch. While in a Tai Chi stance, focusing on breathing and relaxing my physical body, it was interesting to note the difference between the violent energy of the movie and the emotional energy of movie.

I really enjoyed the frequency of loyalty and family in both of these movies, I would describe it as comforting, safe and powerful. I see our society changing; it seems that more and more people are asking about Energy, Chakras, Coaching and Reiki. I also see and feel from my Coaching clients that we are searching for community, a community that feels safe, a community that we can call home.  A place that we can be our authentic self’s.

Are you feeling driven to understand your spirituality or what a Lightworker is? Are you wanting to look within and start working on yourself? I feel so honored to be in the community of Lightworkers. I believe there is a shift that is bringing us all together here in Phoenix and also globally. We are working together and I see the loyalty and the pride and passion to help others. We are raising the Universal Energy and it’s so beautiful. Join the Community Spirit NOW!

Acceptance: Diversity of Community

Over the weekend I was in San Diego for the Big Vision Conference.  When I arrived, the first thing I did was go to the beach.  I met a woman there who would influence my entire weekend and give me lasting insight.  During our conversation I discovered this woman is what they locally call a “Traveler”.  She explained that a Traveler is a person who chooses to live out of their car, traveling from one place to the next.  The Travelers find a job and work long enough to support their needs.  Then they leave the job world and enjoy a freedom that few of us can even comprehend.  Travelers meet up, develop friendships and do things together.  While I was there clothing was being handed out to those in need.  Others worked the beach, picking up trash everyone leaves behind.  They were serving humans and Mother Earth.

Society judges people like the Travelers as transients, the homeless and bums.  However, the Travelers life style set me to thinking.  Many people around the globe get up, go to work, come home and sit in front of the TV.  They own material things, are surrounded by opportunities; yet many seem caught in a cycle of low energy activities which in turn affects their health and well being.  Yes, there are also many who are active participants in their communities and with families.

I asked myself, “What is the difference between what society considers a typical community and people such as the Travelers?”  I looked closer at the Travelers.  I saw their interconnectedness, their concern and their love for each other and all those around them.  I saw them offer strangers a helping hand and sharing.  I watched as they picked up trash from the beach area, keeping our environment clean.  They accepted me immediately.  I felt included, connected and loved.  I knew I could return any time to the Travelers and be welcomed.  I knew they were as much a community as those we live in.

Attending the conference I also felt a connection there.  Perhaps part of the acceptance was that many of us worked in the same fields of expertise.  I felt just as accepted and loved at my five star hotel, full of Healers and other Metaphysical practitioners, as I did at the beach when enjoying time with the Travelers.  In a single weekend I came across two diverse communities, both accepting me as I am.

I was gifted with wondrous insight about community and even more, about acceptance!  I accept myself as I am; I allow my life to unfold.  By allowing others to follow their own path, without judgment, it becomes easy to show my acceptance and love.  In the future when I see people who appear to be without community I will have greater compassion, love and acceptance.
