Do you get frustrated when you drive? Have you ever flipped anyone off while driving? Do you often speak in a negative way to others and to yourself?
When I was a kid, I noticed when Mama drove we didn’t see any bad driving. However, when I was with my uncle, nobody knew how to drive. My uncle would yell and scream at the other drivers, it was not pleasant to ride with him. It made me wonder why? It became clear to me later, that my uncle was giving voice to his negative energy, and it was actually bringing those drivers to us.
So the energy that you send out will always find its way back to you, in some way. Consider the other drivers; do you really know what is going on with them? They may be on the way to the hospital, or have just had an argument with someone. It’s not a personal attack on you. However, I see this in my Coaching sessions as well, with clients taking other people’s actions personally.
Stop and listen to what you say, as if you were outside of yourself. Before you speak, take a moment and assess the situation. What energy do you really want to share? Be mindful of the energy that you send out because it comes back to you.
In my Coaching sessions and Gatherings, I often hear self doubt. They say “I don’t like this about myself”, or “I am not very good at that”. Also, in Tai Chi class I hear, “I am not very coordinated”. Self talk creates your life, because what you say is what you become. The sub conscious is always listening and is responding to your every word, and believes everything it is told. The universe is always matching your desires. So speak with loving ease to yourself.
Before you send out more energy via your words, I challenge you to listen to yourself. Really listen, maybe in front of the mirror. Would you talk to anyone else the way that you are speaking to and of yourself? See and hear your energy. I would love to help you, to focus your energy, so that when it comes back to you, it will bring joy with it.
